PhilT
I've been over in Spain for almost 3 months working, just got back this weekend. First thing I did was go to the garage and get in my '05 Legacy GT. This sounds weird, but it's true...............I put the key in the ignition, turned it, and the car started right up . I then proceeded to drive the car like I stole it, and it performed just like new I do suspect that I will have to take it in to the dealer though, as my CEL is not working, after being on this forum for over 5 years, I know I must have a CEL with all the mods I have done, and then leaving it so long in the garage. Nothing is showing though, the dash lights are all off, something surely must be wrong. There is a possibility though, that Rao might be right "The best thing you can do for your car, is not drive it" Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

What kind of oil and filter do you use and what is your OCI? Why do I need to replace the timing belt ? My car has no problems with timing, it is never late ! I use Costco oil, $12 for a case, is that too much ? Oil is never replaced, the consumption is so high, I never see the need to.
