Setnev Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Since this thread is super old, I'd like to add that engine management doesn't have to be taboo or complicated anymore. I am currently building my engine for my 99 Outback. I am using an EJ257 bottom end, EJ25D top end including intake manifold and harness. I am experimenting with a Speeduino standalone ECU kit. Since my car is MAF, that part of the engine harness gets removed and the ECU has a built in MAP sensor so I won't have to modify my intake manifold.
