07 2.5i lowering springs?

Recommended Posts

I'm on eibachs and love em, though they may be hard to find now.

They stopped making them, and there was a small run made last year, but I'm not sure how many there are kicking around now.

You may have better luck with the ralliteks, as they are similiar to eibachs.

theres also a kit available on here branded by fbp, epic engineering springs. They are similiar to the eibach pro kit. search them (epic engineering). =] not too much drop either from what i've read. Or tien H-techs are widely used as well. ralliteks too.

I believe COBB's are discontinued. And the front drops pretty low, I wouldnt recommend it.

I'm running Vogtland's progressive springs. Their specs are very similar to Eibach...

Advertised drop: 1.2 inches front and rear

Front Rate: 3.4 - 4.5 kg/mm

Rear Rate: 3.1 - 6.5 kg/mm

I've had them with stock shock absorbers for 2.5 years now, however they will be replaced by Koni's soon.

here's a table that gives a breakdown of all the specs between different springs available for the legacy:

Thats an awesome site for info thanks

I am on Cobbs (I like them) and this is how my car sits its def NOT a 1.75 front and 1" rear. There is a equal 3" gap front and rear with my Cobbs and when I had my 04 WRX I had Eibach's, I did love them however they were lower than my Cobbs with about a 2 finger gap all the way around.
