06_LGT
Im in the market for a downpipe to strap to my SPT exhaust. I dont want one that will be too "racer-boy" if you will, or change the exhaust note of the SPT dramatically. Ive also considered gutting my stock DP. I am hoping of running a stage 2 map on my cobb AP also. Any suggestions? Any comments are greatly apreciated
ebondragon87
I have the spt cat back and a megan racing catless dp. I didn't feel that it changed the note of the spt just made it louder. If you want just a little louder and better performance you can do a catted down pipe.
G5892
I have the CNT catted downpipe with the SPT catback. It sounds so much better with the aftermarket downpipe on. You can hear the turbo whistle more and it gets a little louder. But not obnoxious. Your going to love the sound.

TRSCobra
Definately stick with a catted DP if you don't want it to be to loud. Or shoot flames.

jbrown
If you go catless, you are gonna increase the sound more so than catted. I have the cobb dp and it actually is really quiet w/ my invidia exhaust...
Windy Road
Definately stick with a catted DP if you don't want it to be to loud. Or shoot flames. Yay for catless. I don't shoot flames, well when I run my bov in 50/50 it does. Or when my mufflers decide they need to shoot out embers like a dying fire 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull

Schmidtty
Was just curious because I think I'm going to put the pipe in and bring it to get tuned...I heard the accessport tunes don't give you as much power as a custom tune would, so why waste the money on an accessport. ruggerheist
you can still get a protune through an AP, which would be better than a generic AP map that is preloaded. or like you said save the extra money and get an opensource tune, just wont be able to switch between maps
Max Capacity
I have a street tune from http://www.tuningalliance.com He put his map in my Cobb AP.
