Blipblip, I have a question about your exhaust system! You have twinturbo or monoturbo? and what exhaust system is installed,?

Twin turbo I believe. He should have the EJ20R

Correctamondo Brok!;)

Yes Chief its a EJ20R fella TwinTurbo I am looking at single turbo conversion 2.1 Stroker and a Twin scroll around the 370-400 hp and around the same torque!

Its a kakimoto Rear box (no baffles) and decat fella if you wanna hear it theres a few vids in my youtube!

I know its an EJ20R because thats what I have in my car ^_^. I had to convert my engine to single turbo though because I can't run the twin setup on my left hand drive car. I think the 20R does a little bit better as a single turbo anyways...as long as you match the right turbo to it.

I know, just saw the video, where you're coming the street, you have a very cool sound! I thought that you've altered on single turbo

Yeah I love how it sounds bit ear bashy on long trips but you live with that for the pops and bangs!! A lot of the TT Leggy guy's say they can't get the boxer Burble but I think mine sounds better than some Imps bit deeper more of a rumble!

Are those curb protectors or something on the rims??

beautiful new addition you have there

;) Well kinda, they're the rim protectors that come in the box when you get rims from Rota.

http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk317/BSpoke53/Mongssnaps681.jpg

I've been contemplating either getting the lips polished or maybe even doing the lip and dish 51e White? but also when driving I'm getting lil stone chips on the edge on the back wheels from the fronts where they stick out further than the spats!

http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk317/BSpoke53/Mongssnaps684.jpg

They are off now as they hold water and also must have been rattling and sliding while on as have created scratches in the lacquer so looks like a rim refurb has to be done anyway now:mad:, anyone any good with the old Photoshop?

Hi,

Im new to this site so hello to all. I now own 2 Legacy G-tb`s.

One is a Cat C write off which I am race preparing and I have been hunting around for an exact car soI could take the parts I needed.

I have managed to source and buy a car but I realised that it was quite a rare model.

I have a white R reg sept 1998 Subaru Legacy Gt-b Limited. I know its a genuine one as I have the documents from Japan before it was imported. I noticed it is quite a rare car could any of you guys or girls tell me how many of these cars were built or that still exist and what kind of value do you think the car is worth ? Its done 145,000 kilometers.

Thankyou

Dave Reeves

Yes mate well done that car looks the nuts . . .Sorry to be a bit random here but you seem to know alot about these cars and I love them . . .

And I want a set of those wheels for mine too are they the magnesium ones ?

Not sure on those white tyre protectors mind . . .bit yanky . .

Hello, Sorry I haven't been on for a bit been busy so "UPDATE" to follow shortly, I'll try to answer all your questions.

Right the JDM BG5 GT-B Limited was only made in 98, yes it was a limited but not like in cases of other cars, what they did was chuck a few extras on and some little differences to still sell the last of the BG's while they brought out the facelift BH. TBH I think its the best looking Leggy but i'm bias lol! So obviously nearly all BG's sold in 98 were LTDs so not really rare, but in the UK or other countries that they are imported/sold too not very many about at all.

Limited options were:

Bumper.

Grille.

Extra spotlights.

Steering Wheel.

Gear knob

Brushed carbon effect window switch, radio surround and door handle plastics.

The rest of the car is the same and apart from the Carbon plastics, i've changed or altered the rest!

Cost or Worth of these cars, mate if I was to try and sell mine in the UK maybe £1200-1500 and mine has only got 50k in Kilometres on it, I have more than £1500 in the wheels and sussy so if I ever did try to sell I would need to break and part out to get money back, the Motor ain't going anywhere fast I'll be hanging on to it for a bit!;)

No the rims aren't Magnesium they are Rota Grid Drifts, the Volk replica's, I have just spent the winter working on them so looking a bit different now.

The white rim protectors are a necessity on drives to stop the stone chips they to have had a update also!

Lil sneak peak!

Russ, if I may make a request of asking if you can snap a picture of the electrical switch that would turn on the Rally lights that were in the center grill that came on the GT-B bumper. Not to be confused with the fog lights. I'm very much interested in adding on to my bumper while still making the legacy look OEM.
