More of a German style solid 'thunk' when you close it as opposed to the thin-gauged coffee can rattle like our cars do? Off the top of my head adding weight and sound deadening would do the trick, but why add weight un-necessarily? make it justified by adding in some nice door speakers and then dynamat the crap outta them doors!
