bigsherm77
I have a completely stock 2005 Legacy GT Wagon and just bought a set of 235/50r17 snow tires on rims from craigslist. I'm having some rubbing issues. These replaced the stock 215/45r17's How much damage can these do? Has anybody run this size? Are they safe? Thanks for the input. Underdog
235/50 is way bigger than 215/45... what made you think that was okay? Also, what are the specs on the wheel? Width and offset? The Crimson Dynamo
bigsherm77
they were such a good deal I thought I should try to squeeze them on. anyway, I'm taking them off today and am just going to get some new all seasons for the stock rims and give up on my dream of snow tires. thanks. tantal
LMAO. I like you. Spend first, find out what you need second! Nice work! Can I suggest you put them back on CL and find the correct size for your car? LMAO I just love this one! OMG I just read your second post - now you are going to go with "some good all seasons!" GENIUS! I love it!! Thank you, this could have been a Seinfeld skit!
bigsherm77
I said "new all seasons" not "good all seasons" nevermind.
