DeltaSniper
Na, the tires don't look nearly as tiny in person and I don't want to give up any ride quality. The stealership already commented that the wheels and rack are "non-OEM", not looking for another reason to void the warranty lol. You should have upsized the tires... Additionally, if the dealership voids your powertrain warranty for new wheels and lowering springs, you are dealing with a pretty bad dealership. Wheels and suspension do not and should not void powertrain warranty.

Its called denying a claim. They cannot void you warranty because of those mods anyway since what harm could they do to your engine/transmission or any other part of your car. Additionally, if the dealership voids your powertrain warranty for new wheels and lowering springs, you are dealing with a pretty bad dealership. Wheels and suspension do not and should not void powertrain warranty. Tires are almost exactly what the OEM spec is for the 17in wheel option. Not looking for huge wheels or totally stuffed wheel wells. You "should" do whatever your preference is. Also, whether or not they void the warranty or refuse whatever service you request due to a modification, the net result is the same.....I didn't get told no by the dealership but there are plenty of people on this forum who have been told they caused whatever failure they had because they used aftermarket parts. Wouldn't hurt the engine/tranny but suspension components covered by the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty could be denied service. For example, one of the new tires I put on was bad and was causing the car to pull. I called about alignment and the dealership said no free alignment due to aftermarket wheels and tires. Luckily the problem wasn't the alignment but you see the point I'm driving at. From what I've seen and read the dealers will fight anything in hopes that you'll pay out of pocket for it. Apike11
Mmm spacers. What size spacers did you use? Same for rear and fronts? HR 5025560 Trak+ DRM Wheel Spacer They are 25mm and yes both the same front and back. Was going to go smaller on the front but tested them out and decided I liked it the same. acumenhokie
Sounds like a good plan to me if they fit. What's the offset and width? Do you have tires already? Summer, winter or year round?
beatBOXed
18X7.5 ET48...I'm assuming 48 is the offset and 7.5 is the width? I'm somewhat new to wheel/tire swaps. I should probably move this over to the wheel/tire section.

dean1974
I have the new 2013 legacy 2.5i Premimu, and I noticed that on cold raining days, the rear window tends to sweat a lot and has a lighter color than the side mirrors. Same with your legacy???
