schwinghammer
stock forester struts and springs NO! what the hell's the matter with you people? Outback struts, not forester - and you can use your stock legacy springs. schwinghammer
I'm wondering if someone before me stuck on the OB gear...the tires I noticed are p235 65 r15 and don't scrape. Much larger than the stock p195 xx xxx tires I went with 205/75r15 when I did it. I tried 215s and they rubbed pretty bad.
schwinghammer
looks like you have a little bit of ass sag there Probably had a bunch of crap in the trunk. Eh - it's a 7 year old photo of a car I haven't owned in 5 years. I'm not too worried about it.
johnegg
you don't need to change the springs. use the outback struts and springs, $45 used . if you are buying new that would be different.
Jab83
i'll sell mine for $50 but you whoever wants em pays to ship unless your local. Btw I hate you for making the price so low....... I was hoping $75 . :/
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 5, 2011 I Donated Share Posted August 5, 2011 struts are expensive to ship cause they are heavy lol. I would keep them. That way when snow season comes, you can slap them back on and be able to push through all the snow. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 12, 2011 I Donated Share Posted August 12, 2011 Please start making kits and selling them you will make some money and the Subaru family will be really happy I might as soon as I buy a new welder. It blew my mind to see that those were THAT expensive. I am seriously considering fabing up some kits and selling them for about $300 a piece. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." worknlikeadog
What would you do about the engine drop diff drop etc. Cause that's where all the money is in the kits
worknlikeadog
It would prob be best to buy the kit and reverse engineer the part
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 12, 2011 I Donated Share Posted August 12, 2011 What would you do about the engine drop diff drop etc. Cause that's where all the money is in the kits I have 3 cars that I can use as guinea pigs to fab a prototype. I would likely fork over the $600 for the kit thats already on the market and base my design off of that. Its basically a kit full of big spacers....there isn't much to it -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 12, 2011 I Donated Share Posted August 12, 2011 That kit even looks like garbage. I've made up my mind. I'm going to make my own kit for sale....and mine isn't going to be something thats going to rust in a year either like theirs.....mine will be powder coated....clean welds....etc -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
