adhdrockstar
dual drill FTL Dude they are $120 a wheel! You could buy 4 sets of these for the price of one set of nice wheels. I mean I love some nice ass volks or work wheels, but for a inexpensive good looking wheel, XXR makes two good ones! And the legacy can pull off both of them very well, dual drilled or not. But everyone has their own vices. I'll go cheap on wheels, but when it comes to motor work, that's where you want quality. -Urban Cowboy

amp583
Bringing this back from the dead guys.. Looking at 527's and read thoughts on inexpensive rims = poor quality, etc. I'm wondering if anyone running XXR 527's or XXRs in general have notice poor quality and/or build. Side note, I'm in Chicago where the roads are complete shit. Does inexpensive rims = less strength (less alloy) = more prone to warpage and road damage? TcDavis
Man! That makes me miss my leggy! Gave No Pictures Anymore Other Than This one. Anyway, I had no problems with those xxr527 s and I live in Louisville, land of the crap roads! Contraction everywhere.

murphy_jake
Ive had xxrs in the past and found that if you dont drive around like a lunatic aiming for pot holes going 80mph or shooting for curbs they last a long time and hold up well
fahr_side
Light. Cheap. Strong. Pick any two you like, and note XXR wheels are not light. Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs. housemusic1
Most of their wheels are also drilled for both 5x100 and 5x114.3, so you do have the extra holes you have to look at. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but some people don't like the look.
