gil_ong
alas, it is not meant to be. the "mounts" aren't the same http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1352/5185661255_1f87f1c83f_b.jpg top: 02 WRX bottom: 05 LGT
Drift Motion
the mounts should be almost universal my 240 mount was the same as my LGT, and I got my dimming mirror from some hyundai...
gil_ong
well they're not. the WRX one is spring-loaded. the LGT one is held one with a bolt. i'm more than willing to use something as long as it fits.

fibuz
I ran into this too, and made it work with what I had. I can't remember exactly what I did. I'll go look after work.

fibuz
I think you're hosed, unless theres something on the window that you didn't take off. You don't have anywhere to put the "knob" style on your Legacy.

Phila
The mount on the dimming mirror looks too big to even fit on the window

vr4Legacy
do you still have access to the wrx? Can you not take off the mount from the windshield, then get some rear view mirror adhesive from Advance Auto? I had an Olds Cutlass that the mirror just fell off of, along with the mount, and I bought some adhesive, fixed it great. Good Luck
gil_ong
unfortunately not. It was picked up on Saturday and is living a new life. What blows myind ia that I can get a new mirror for something like $120 and yet the adaptor kit I saw in someone's FS thread goes for $50. :unamused:
vr4Legacy
contact your local dealer and ask if they can get you just the mount from your model WRX (or PM FredBeansParts on here) I would hope just the glass mount part is less than $15....
