Lookatmyrust Posted October 24, 2010 Share Posted October 24, 2010 people have the wrong idea when we talk about body spacers... body spaces go between the subframe and the frame.... top hat spacers go between the tophat and frame.. no cars came with tophet spacers... the outbacks come with 1 inch spacers.. this lowers the rear subframe so really the CVs are at the same angle. on another not. if we start blowning axles everyyear. we need to find aftermarket axles.. either get lucky and find some or probably have custom ones made. If you lower the engine and rear sub-frame as a whole unit you aren't adding any more suspension travel just making the wheel wells farther away... just my 2 cents. I still really like the idea. Now that my car is finally lifted, all these kits are showing up?! I've been posting on subaruoutback.org and NASIOC forever asking for this stuff. I'm happy with my Fozy lift, though. I looked forever. But its done and Im happy. But my front end seems to have a good 2 inches higher than my rear. I wouldnt mind droping my engine area and front diff.
