vr4Legacy
Alright, I think he got the hint guys. To the OP, there are a few different aspects, all of which can be found by searching. But as mentioned, you can get whatever horsepower you want out of any engine, the true question is what do you want to do with the car. An STI is a full power, performance car with a harsh ride. Whereas an LGT is a bit more refined, has the pep when you want it, and rides smoother than it's Impreza brother. Of course it can be tuned to outperform most cars on the road, but so can any other vehicle for that matter. The true question you need to ask yourself is "how do I plan on driving my car?" then decide if a stock STI is the route you want or a modded LGT is better. Oh and by all means STAY AWAY FROM CHINESE GYPSY TEARS!!! I had a horrible incident with my VR4 Mitsubishi Galant that ended in an engine fire!!! robbie_R
Here's a couple basics Turbo's are different Intake manifolds are different Intercooler's are different That's different regardless of year. LGT's are almost identical to the 08+WRX minus the air pump STi is still way different.
