Bolksey85
Neat? For sure. Worth the probably 60K they'll want for it? Hell, no. Much better options for the same amount of $$$ or less.
RyanGT
Have you gone on Youtube to hear what the 5-cylinder sounds like? There's a clip with it going around the 'ring for testing. . . I have enough drama for now.....

Agreed, Audi is overpriced. They are starting to think they can charge as much as porsche
Bolksey85
I was in a local VW/Audi/P-car dealer awhile ago on a Sunday. Doing the typical window shopping and daydreaming thing. While I liked the looks and much more aggressive styling (plus the bright orange is badass) of the TT-S, I sputtered at the $48k sticker on it. 05GT Guru
Look v8s do the same thing but make more power. Although that audis powerband is impressive if you were to ever upgrade the turbo you would loose that bottom end power. http://www.vettepieces.com/dyno/images/2006zo6_Dyno_001.jpg

While I liked the looks and much more aggressive styling (plus the bright orange is badass) of the TT-S, I sputtered at the $48k sticker on it. And that is only the price of a base TTs coupe. I've seen prices on a TTs roadster well over the $50k mark. So you have to figure they'll probably be asking around mid $60k mark for a TT RS. For that kind of money a new vette with the Cobalt interior is still a better deal.
ShrinerMonkey
2.5L 5 cyl? I would go near that tractor sounding lump with a 10 ft pole. 5cyl = the power of 4cyl with the efficiency of a 6.

About the only advantages with the Audi is an actual nice interior and they are awd. The TT however has a craptacular psuedo awd haldex system and probably the TT RS will be a dsg trans only car. There is no doubt when you buy any new audi interior wont be where the car lets you down. As far as AWD not everyone wants AWD. I wouldnt if I had a second sports car.
