DoDo1975
I replaced my stop lights in my 2005 LGT wagon with the GE 7443 light that it says is supposed to replace it. The bulbs don't appear to snap in and come out really easily. I rechecked my old bulb, which is also a 7443 and it snaps in and is a little difficult to get out. I am worried that these new lights are going to end up falling out due to vibration. Should I be worried? Thanks,
bluesuby
I just installed the same GE bulb and no problems. You do need to carefully look at the base of the bulb and match it to the socket. The bulb can only go in one way correctly, but you probably could reverse it and still get it in the socket.
Max Capacity
Funny I replaced both mine a few weeks ago and had no issues. I went to Advance Auto parts, told them what car it was, he gave me the 2 bulbs...like $7.00. They were in a red package. Fit fine, I didn't think about which way they went in. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
