Mach V Mega Colossal Meet V, July 24 2010

The 2010 Mach V Mega Colossal Meet and Charity Car Show will happen on Saturday, July 24, 2010.

This will be our fifth annual charity event, with proceeds going to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Last year we raised $1700. It's a new year and the economy is on the rebound -- let's add to that number! As in previous years, it'll be a car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves. If you don't have a Subaru, there will be classes for other cars, too.

There'll be a voluntary $10 donation to attend. Registration for the car show will be $25 in advance, $45 the day of the show. See the link below for registration info.

Car show setup will be from 9 am to 10 am, with the event beginning at 10 am and lasting until 4pm. The coveted show trophies will be awarded starting at 2pm.

Other attractions: Super special deals on high-performance parts! Paintless Dent Repair on-site! Free stuff giveaways! One dollar burgers and hot dogs! Other attractions I haven't even thought of yet!

The event will be held at Mach V World Headquarters, located at:

45690 Elmwood Court

Sterling, VA 20166

Haha!! Those trophies are a novelty!!!

I marked my calendar. I hope to God it stays open.

Will there be a guy doing the 3M clear bra installation as well? I remember the last meet I was at, you had a guy at your store doing a 3M clear bra installation on some old guy's hatch back STI.

Food update: We'll have a BBQ vendor, Pappa Duke's BBQ of Sterling! (Our regular Mach V griller had to go to Louisiana to rescue the gulf...)

Attendance update: The list is pretty big! Should be a good time. I have trophies ready, but not very many car show entrants yet, so please consider entering the show. It's not much money and you could win! My car show is pretty relaxed, so don't sweat it if your car is not a trailer queen or anything... and remember, proceeds go to benefit kids.

I am getting pretty excited!!! I LOVE PAPPA DUKE'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if WeatherWarrior enters his ride, I am not gonna lie, I am so going to vote for it. A Subaru covered in mud, is a Subaru in its element. ;)
