Istvan_Sz
Hi there! I own a Legacy 2008. I´m about to buy a HTC Desire. (Nexus one in the US). I want to use it like an GPS and sound sourse. I whant to use it like this: http://www.subarucubbymount.com/uploads/1/0/2/7/1027811/9094795.jpg?366x274 Therefore I´m going to buy a stock AUX-IN, and install it to the console myself. (under the 12V outlet). While I install the AUX-IN. I want to lay down some cables for the Desire. *A 12V wire for charging the phone (From the console-12V to the "center tray") *A Jack wire from AUX-IN to the phone (Console to the "Center tray"). Is this possible to hide the cables in the trim? Have anyone been in the stereo/console trim? How is the space under it? Maybe some pictures? Thanks in advance! vr4Legacy
There is a fair amount of free room behind/around the stereo. If you don't have Satellite, there is an empty spot right under the stereo to bolt that add-on to. It's essentially a double-din stereo attached to a LARGE face plate. As for the center console and such, there is tons of space on each side to run wires.
dr_sharp
Search the "Interior/Audio" subforum and you'll find tons of pictures with the trim pieces removed in and around the stereo and center consol. lol
