charlie_sheen
No pics of it off the car, its just like yours, full cobb catted. From what i know, the clearance between the mid and the trans cross member will be minimal, and i think one of the tabs wont mount up correctly

SBT
blehhh i dont want to hav to get retuned after going catless. do you think its worth it? Think there could be issues not tuning for an open pipe. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
charlie_sheen
from what i read some time ago, the rear o2 sensor would be the only problem when running open dp. even then, something about the sensor makes it not active while the car is under load. i would surely check my a/f just to be positive nothing ill is taking place, but trscobra had a cutout too and he never had any issues when he checked everything over. SBT
ISTR that TRS's was post sensor - but I'd definitely want some active logging to see what/if anything needs to change. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

Moderators BarManBean Posted April 26, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2012 Feeler: anyone local looking for a set of OEM wheels off an '05? They're in good shape and would come with a set of yokohama tires with plenty of wear left. Not sure what the market would be for these so open to offers. Can get pics up this weekend. Ok, now that I no longer think my car is completely broken I'm back to exploring options for finding my stock wheels a new home (from an '05 wagon with ~62k miles). I'll get some pics up tonight to show overall condition of wheels / tires. If you are interested in a set of wheels and/or tires let me know. The situation has to work out where I won't have any downtime without wheels, so please keep that in mind. LegacyGTBiggie
After I bought my first catback(megan) I did not hook the DP to it for over a month(ran open downpipe). No issues and no retune. Later swapped my HFC DP and megan setup for a catless and Fujitsubo setup. Once again no issues and no retune.
Moderators BarManBean Posted April 26, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2012 Continuing in my quest to get new wheels / tires, anyone in the area interested in a set of Dunlop SP Sport 01's (performance summer tires) with 1500 miles on them? Will start the bidding at $600. (FYI, this is a feeler as I would have to purchase a set of wheels that includes these tires). By the way, you could possibly have my wagon suspension if you REALLY wanted to get rid of these, but I can't come close to $600... BAC5.2
SBT - They are the MT GT Wagon springs. BMB - Thanks for the good wishes. I won't be simply giving them away, but I'll keep you in mind. My car is a bit harsh over bumps, and with a newborn on the way, that's not great. Before selling/trading, I'm going to try a few fixes first. If they work, these are off-the-market.
