Hey all,

So i'm looking to replace my scratched bumper, and found this on ebay. I can't tell if it's DGM, but it looks close. What do you guys think? It looks a lil lighter than dgm, but darker than QSM...

QSM for comparison:

DGM (and you can see my scratch on the front right)

thanks everyone, yah that more i looked at it the more it wasn't DGM... I guess the wait for a new bumper continues!

If anyone sees a DGM front bumper cover for cheap, let me know!

I'm confused... you have a sctratch on your bumper that might cost $300- 500 max to fully repaint and make new again, but you would rather buy a used stock bumper that is DGM so you can save money on paint?

What is the cost of the used bumper in your first post? If it's near 500 bucks, then you still end up with a used bumper that has some wear and tear on it and won't look mint like your freshly re-painted original bumper....

If you are looking for an aftermarket / JDM bumper, you will be in to the project for as much as 1500 bucks by the time you have to re-paint that too.

Is your goal to save money?

Yah, there's a chip in one area, and the 3 paint shops I went to up here were quoting me $600 for re-condition & paint.

If anyone can recommend a good paint place in Socal, I'd be willing to take a trip down there.

The bumper in the OP was $180 shipped, and the other used bumpers on ebay go for around that price. I've been hoping an 08-09 DGM would show up for that price, but none have in a long time.

Ah I see. 180 certainly beats 600 bucks... if you can find the right colour.

Man, I should look in to getting an eBay account on of these years.... sounds like a great place to save a ton of dough!
