legacy gt vs. legacy gt spec b

Ummm, I get the tickets but trust me the umbrella is the least of your problems. That is NOT driving the cost. An umbrella should only cost you a few hundred a year if that. The wife and I have a $1M policy as well... it costs $160/yr with Allstate. :) I'd change your insurance company as soon as you get those tickets off. ;)

And don't forget about the 'SI-DRIVE' not sure what year this became offered but it's cool to have 3 different boost maps available on the fly. Don't remember stock off hand but I'm running 14,17, and 20psi.

The 6 speed is what got me interested first.. then the rest of the extras sold me

First off, this is an 8 year old thread...

Second, SI-DRIVE is not 3 different boost maps on the fly, especially in the stock form. All it changes is the drive-by-wire throttle mapping. S and S# are the exact same thing besides how touchy the accelerator pedal is, and I will limit the car's power to only use a fraction of the stock maps.

Hm. There’s a lot of really great points in this thread, and I think I agree with a lot of the posters. It all depends on what you want from your vehicle and what it is that you want to be able to do. Knowing what is involved here and working out the cost can go a long way toward helping you to get just what you need in that regard as well.

First: Man, this thread won't die.

Second: The post I said this in before was deleted by an overzealous mod (don't ban me SBT!), but since the last post in this thread before NotYourAvgSpec.B's necromancy, I have both bought and sold two Legacy GTs and a WRX. I didn't own a Subaru when that post happened, and I don't now.

Third: Just let this thread die!
