kopke
Perhaps I'm yust blind but I did not see any holes under the carpet on the driver side of my '06L. But I do have is a nice gromet in the trunk and to me it dosn't seam to be so hard to simply strap the power wire under the car and up into the trunk. Enyone having any experiens whit that? rice_rocket
Holy craps... why not just.. run it under the carpet inside? I'd certainly not want to risk the wire getting knicked by anything at all and causing catastrophic shorts Seriously.. even getting hit by a nice rock would take off the plastic coating. I ran my power wire up and through the carpet on the inside to the trunk...
dease42
agreed ^^^ Pull off the trim around the door sills, and there's a nice little plastic tray for the body wiring.. it's a little tight, but you can use it. I've got an 8ga wire running to the trunk (w a remote 18ga) on one side, and 3 RCA bundles on the other side, and they both tuck nicely into the channel. wear gloves if you value your knuckles... cseagle08
I ran 10ga wire underneath the doorsil panels, didn't feel like taking too much off and it's hidden completely.
darkside
Under car is very bad, something snags that wire or cuts it and it touches metal, FIRE, the wire will weld it self to car, can damage carpet or if close to a fuel line, KABOOM. Run under carpet and add a fuse holder in case.

Theride
is no one paying atension to the fact that i did not find eny holes to go trho? can somone send me a pix where the dam hole is? Ps. I'm/was planing on using some cover. posebly metal. stop the whining man. put some thought into it and you realize that it is very easy to run the wire(s) IN the car, instead of under it. now, you still havent made it clear what you are asking. do you want to know how you can get the power wire from the engine to the rear of the car? or are you confuse as to where to run the wire...via under carpet, under door sill, in the ceiling ect....? if its from the engine bay(through fire wall), there is a huge grommet right beside the brake pedal. if you open the hood and stand infront of the car on the driver side, where the brake booster/cylinder is, there is a black grommet. all you have to do is pop it out and you can fit prolly two or three 1/0 wire through it. you can then remove your seats, slighty lift the side of the carpet and run it to the back. I have pics on my BB phone but i dont know how to upload it so you'll can see where the unused grommet is. I remove the entire carpet and run all my wires under. you cant see any wires anywhere.
