What is the best exhaust and headers for a legacy gt?

Recommended Posts

What is the best exhaust and headers for a legacy gt? even just exhaust would help, ive seen people with new headers and it sounds like crap. I want something mean sounding, like scares people when i pass them. Also, what is a good up and downpipe as well? Will that make it sound better?

"best exhaust" is subjective. If you're looking for performance, a catback wont change much. Performance wise, a replaced DP + tune will add the most. I also read that stock headers are fine in the performance aspect.

If you want noise, just run an open downpipe, that will surely scare people.

I love your clips and think the sound is sweet.

I wish I had the same sound out of my own exhaust. I'm talking about my car at this point. To avoid confusion.
