amp27
another question... what rims tend to be the strongest.. like design wise.. these nippon rimm just seem TOO cheap..... are they strong enough for off road.
WESTcoast
another question... what rims tend to be the strongest.. like design wise.. these nippon rimm just seem TOO cheap..... are they strong enough for off road. I wouldnt rally with anything but high quality or factory stuff. Forged rims are the best as they are extremely stronger than the knock offs out there. Rallying with your stock stuff and owning two sets of rims is even nicer, one for the street and you have a set for the mudd, then you wont have to worry that much about cleaning or breaking. 98JDMLegacyLimited
you guys crack me up!!!! there is no way in hell they are two or three piece at 300 a set and this car is my commuter so it will only see the highway and some hard turns on the street for now!! I might play around down the road when I get another commuter but my wife hates me because we have 5 cars so keeping one is hard. I am only getting these rims because stocks are slightly bent from a female driver that had it before me!!!! thank for all the advice I did not expect so much!!! ineedmorepsi
From the same seller check out the white five star 17x7 maybe those with black lug nuts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nippon-Wheel-4-Rims-127-w-17-5x100-40-offset_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a050d8facQQitemZ180473401260QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories I'm thinking about getting those since they are only $300shipped. Can't beat that. I've always been a sucker for those white nippons aka Rota Slipstreams aka Desmond Spoon SW388 aka Desmond Regamaster EVO http://i479.photobucket.com/albums/rr152/qsport1/Rim/127_w_17x7_5x100_40_a.jpg BTW those mesh wheels the option #2 ones are not BBS LM wannabes like someone said they are actually C2s (Racing Hart C2 replicas). I've had 2 sets 1 piec in 16" and 3 piece in 18" about 8+ years ago in my Honda days. Baller old school wheels. http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/attachments/m5-5-series/15647d1032817804-hre-540-fikse-fm10-racing-hart-c2-3-piece-e36silverrhc2.jpg
