blacksus
I'm putting my money on the transmission or possibly the torque converter. yea after weeks of searching and reading and trying other stuff i have come down to it being a very large possibility it is the TC. just haven't convinced myself to spend all that money on the TC and installation yet. 98LGTLover
I changed out my tranny because the shifts were VERY rough and my old one was having pressure issues. I did not replace my axles because there was no reason to. I've always been told that the excessive vibrating came from the TC. I got the tranny for $300 with 82k on it and my dad worked at a dealership at the time and the owner said he would have it installed for me at no cost, so that is why I changed out my tranny. blacksus
yea from what i gather usually when shifting becomes hard and it seems like you have to floor it to get it to go its usually the TC. and when all of this starts to happens it seems like that is when the vibrations start to occur too. i read somewhere that having a bad TC can make it seem like your whole tranny is bad.
