GrampsWRX
I have had several subies but with the 05 LGT wagon that I have, its has smelled of burning oil ever since I got my oil changed. that was 2 months ago. My WRX would smell for a couple days because of dripping. Do LGT's smell longer? There was no such smell before then. And the car doesn't seem to be leaking anywhere. Help.... captainhook
I'm not suggesting this is your problem as it's pretty much impossible for me to guess, but recently I had a similar issue and it turned out my oil pan seal was leaking ever so slightly and dripping onto my exhaust manifold. I just had it resealed and the issue seems to have resolved itself.

Max Capacity
120,200 miles, my boots are still original. OP, I would check to make sure the oil filter is not leaking. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
