Recommended Posts

So i bought my legacy the day after my birthday jan 12. drove from san luis obispo to long beach(to check out some other cars) to sacramento to get it. She needs some things here and there but the exterior is awesome. Interior has some little things that could use some touching up or swapping to new interior :). leather or spec b which ever. Now has limo rear windows and a sti up pipe in my closet waiting for it. lookin for a dp to gut and snowboard racks. along with some other stuff i need to do maintenance wise. Oh she had 59600mi on her and i got her for $10.5k.

but heres pics for ya:

Beautiful. Definitely agree with changing the interior. What exhaust system is that?

Also depending on how often you snowboard and how many people go with you, I just drop the backseats and put my board in the trunk when I go boarding so I don't mess up the lines and roof look with a snowboard rack.

It's cool; I'm with the band

Didnt even know the rear center part of my seat goes down. I could maybe squeeze two or three boards through there. We usually load up in my buddies truck with 5 of us, but that thing sucks gas!

As far as the exhaust um i think the previous owner just chopped off the mufflers and put those tips on it. There really long. Sounds really good. but i might pick up some mufflers and have those put on. or find a cheap used cbe. Thinkin borla or idk. I heard a magnaflow but thought it sounded like poop.

yah the right side is a tiny bit lower but i dont think it bounces around. I have been looking at the Borla CBE but i can wait tell i find it on sale/ used. I dont mind buying used stuff lol. I was also looking at the one that subiemods has for like 400. looked like a good price just gotta see how it sounds. Maybe borla mufflers would be a cheap alternative and get some tips put on.

I had no idea the fold down seats didn't happen until 07. The more I hear it seems as though there may be enough evidence for the 07-09 to be a different forum than the 05-06. Or at least on exterior things. I know when I went to make my DIY grille, it is attached completely differently than the 05, the headlights are a little different as well. I'm sure there are other things too, but that's just my opinion, not a big deal.

BRUCE BRUCE, looks sweet. Let me know if your wanting any help with the LEGGY.

- Most racks hold only 4 boards and i suggest just using your "pass through" to save money.

- I have a perrin cat back and it cost me $900. youll find differences of opinion on exhaust choice but i think perrin looks the best on our cars

- Those blacked out taillights are cool (but some of our local LEO will hound you after dark trying to get you for DUI and crap)

OH and one of my buddies recognized your name and bike, mentioned that you bought one of my old buddies trucks, that turd Yota PreRunner lollll. That thing probably brings back some memories for ya (me too rofl) :spin::spin::spin:

Wowa really? small world. Hmm ill have to definitely meet up with you to hear that exhaust. That truck was fun, but slow as balls. would of been awesome for a 3.4 swap. Who recognized me? Oh and i dont drink and drive anymore. Learned my lesson with that one and i dont really like the taillights. I would rather have stock. SO if ya wanna swap im down lol

First off, Congrats on a nice clean '05.

Second, You really should flush your brake fluid. It should be clear, not brown.

DOT3 is the recommended choice.

And third, Meguires leather wipes once a month will keep your steering wheel and other leather surfaces in great condition.

Oh and you can de-badge your trunk using dental floss and some patience.
