flywheel spacer dimensions?

NSFW

Recommended Posts

LittleBlueGT tells me that ACT ships a small spacer with their flywheel that helps the clutch disengage without maxing out the pedal adjustment range.

Is this basically just a washer that sits next to the pilot bearing? If so, what are the dimensions?

I'm thinking I might buy one for my Bullyclutch setup to make the clutch adjustment easier. Installation should be on the 18th.

Thanks!

I can't picture what you're talking about.

Please don't trick me into rotating my exhaust housing. :)

Funny :)

If there is a spacer it either needs to move the flywheel closer to the transmission or the TOB closer to the pressure plate. To move the flywheel a spacer would need to mimic the end of the crankshaft and you would need longer flywheel bolts if the spacer was relatively thick. To move the TOB with the Subaru system would be a PITA.

I don't want the flywheel that comes with it though, and I don't think it makes sense for him to sell them separately. I'm guessing the ACT flywheel needs the spacer, whereas the WRX flywheel can work without it.
