Scooby2.5
I am wanting to know, those of you with the 18 245/45/18 setup if you think I would have clearance issues since I have the AVO offset bushings. They are the same size as stock in diameter but I dont know what will happen when I turn the wheel with the wider tire. Will hit the fender wells in the front? Here is a picture of mine on stock wheels and tires with the AVO offsets. http://inlinethumb33.webshots.com/44256/2880742980074087040S600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb63.webshots.com/14014/2896844640074087040S600x600Q85.jpg
gf2020
I'm not familiar with those bushings or what they are supposed to do. What wheels are you going to put the 18" tires on? My fair weather set-up are 245/45R18s on 18 X 8.5 wheels. I have no issues with rubbing. http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg164/gf2020_photos/Subaru/P1020564.jpg
ScoobySTi07
Are you refering to the caster bushings? The Ridiculousness is no more But you can have your very own piece of it. **The Ridiculous Part Out.**

Scooby2.5
yep see my picture above. It would be nice to see a side view of gf2020's car like in my picture. I am curious to see if the 245/45/18 will rub since my wheels are pushed forward with the bushings. The thing that I think would be a concern is turning the wheel, with the wider tire it might rub the front of the fender well bumper area. Mine almost rubs with the stock tire wheel combo while turning. Although they will be the same diameter, I am not sure if the width will cause an issue while turning. Aczwild
Get some artists modeling clay from an art store and increase the width of your stock tires that will reflect the new offset, tire size, etc for the areas in question. JonLGT
It looks like you would have to give up your offset bushings or going with a larger size. That is a really tight fit as it is. What size are the pictured tires?

I'm sorry, I don't have a picture like that and my 17s are back on for the winter. What is the purpose of those bushings?
