I wouldn't spend serious money to tune up a car that is only worth 1400.00. The tune up would be half the value of the car! just keep the oil changed regularly. silver03 Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 A tune up would be inexpensive and simple. At 150k miles, a timing belt change should be at least considered. If not interested in doing that, at least get a visual of its condition. Maybe dump the tranny and front/rear diff fluid if necessary. Again, inexpensive and simple. Fuel filter, maybe...easy/cheap.
