fatboy1214
so the other day i was poking around on craigslist and came accros a somewhat rare car a subaru svx 1994 with the 3.3 and AWD i picked it up for a meer $550 (including gas) why so cheap? the lady was moving and it overheated (after about a 10 minutes you could see the very small amount of collant coming from the radiator) so i figure hopefully i can soldier it up and will run like a champ i will try to get pictures soon the whole car is in really good condition for the year

slickfast
Wait, it IS possible to solder aluminium? I thought one needed a TIG welder to do that. I have many torches at home, I've just never tried it because I didn't think it was possible.
slickfast
Actually, upon rereading the OP post I think you'd be better off getting a cheap all aluminum radiator. They're cheap because the fitment isn't right on, but you're going to have to do a little modification anyway for the mounting points. I have one on my BMW and i have been told by track rats that it will hold up incredibly well. Not the prettiest, but they work! And for 180 shipped like I got mine for, it's around the same as replacing a stock radiator.
E-Tank
Oh sh**. That is awesome. There is someone selling a 6MT with a fried diff in the marketplace right now. You should buy it for cheap, get a new diff, and do the swap. Then put a GT42 on that 3.3 and make us all drool. If you want to post pictures go to photobucket and start a free account. Then you can upload pictures and copy and paste the "forums link code" right into the text of your post and bang, you've got pictures. Do it quick. I wanna see this baby.
