I've done some intake work with getting rid of the snorkle up in the engine bay. It's actually pretty cool when it all gets finished and it gives great throttle response and some noticeable torque. There's a page on another legacy forum that gives step-by-step instructions for rerouting the intake, but I don't remember the page now. If u find it, I threw a cold air intake down by the fog light :D I have yet to remove the airbox though

here's the link to the page. what I ended up doing is instead of a fixed pipe running from the box to a mesh at the end, I threw a spectre cold air filter on the end down by the fog light. I'm working on getting the airbox out, because that's causing the most issues as far as flow goes. Then it's on to the torque box, and trying to re-rout the scoop to feed even more air into the engine :) Good luck!

I'd be interesting in hearing that exhaust without the Seafoam going through the intake. Care to make another short video?

Also, if anyone else is thinking of using Seafoam you're supposed to keep the engine rpms elevated (3,000ish) while you pour it down the throttle body or suck it up through a vacuum hose, not rev the engine up and down like in the video. Water actually works just as well too; think of it as 'steam cleaning' your combustion chambers.

acually that after the seafoam went in and the car sat off to 5 to 10 mins, that was the start up to clear it all out.... and i could make another short vid for you but it sounds the same

Ah, ok.

Can you make a video and hold the rpms up for a few seconds, rather than just revving it?

on the butt dyno, not much of anything, if yours is auto then you wont notice anything performance wise. mines a 5speed and i noticed a little bit more torque in the lower rpm range, i don have to downshift so much to go up steep hills now. and on flat land it picks up a little quicker. but its not like its gonna shave a second or 2 off your quater time

wow. this is the quickest ive seen youtube upload a vid, took like 5 min, but anyway, ask and yee shal recieve. btw, the slight smoke is just a fuel system cleaner i have in the gas tank lol. kinda freaked me out when i watched the vid seeing as how my engine was just rebuilt but then i remembered that its prolly just crap in my injectors burning off, so here it is. i didnt do an in car but if you want that i can do that too.

EDIT: thats with borla headers, catco high flows, 2.5 inch pipe straight back, and a magnaflow. if you keep the stock midpipe, the only difference will be it wont be as deep of a rumble.

I had a similar setup on my 99' SF. Borla replica header-> Stromung HFC pipe-> Stromung catback. It sounded awesome and definitely gained a bit of HP/TQ and throttle response. Better mpg as well.

Had some delta cams out of an 05' RS to go on, but ended up selling the car and getting the LGT. Anyways here's a couple clips of the set up:
