MOMSWGN
I can attest for PPGs. Have helical 1-4, stock 5, billet forks with LSD built by Andrewtech. Get them used off NASIOC. Call up DS1 Motorsports for Mfactory gearsets and Mfactory LSD.
BAC5.2
I can attest for PPGs. Have helical 1-4, stock 5, billet forks with LSD built by Andrewtech. Get them used off NASIOC. Call up DS1 Motorsports for Mfactory gearsets and Mfactory LSD. I don't think DS1 Motorsports is in business any more. There have been some pretty bad threads on Nasioc about people not getting their transmissions back, or getting the wrong transmission back, and the like. I am pretty sure Andrewtech has been doing recent R&D with mFactory, so they should be able to set you up. MOMSWGN
Too bad about DS1 if what you say is true. I got my LSD from them at a good price. As I recall the Mfactory 1-4 was $2300 and LSD was $600.

As I recall the Mfactory 1-4 was $2300 and LSD was $600. What did you do to make the MFactory LSD fit? When I had mine installed we had to lop off a few millimeters to get the axel to lock in place, otherwise it would constantly pop out and leak oil. whitetiger
^i have the same setup. the vclsd def leaves somthing to be desired. If i can find a 4:11 ring and pinion, id have it put in to a spec b r180 rear end so i can have its torsen setup.

f1anatic
So I see that a used one is about 300 (or so, NASIOC). What is the story with the 4.11 ring and pinion ? Non-existant for the R180 ? Because all Subarus with R180 rear have a 3.9 R&P ? while the R160 is 4.11 and we cannot borrow that ring and pionion set to mount the R180 ? BAC5.2
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1302564&page=8 Seems a little shady. I didn't think they were staying open. MFactory says themselves they haven't heard from DS1 in weeks.
