jim1969
What fluid would be best for my situation? My OEM fluid looks like coffee. Daily driver, stage 3. No track or auto-x. I see stop and go traffic as well as highway. I'm going with Hawk HPS pads (the HPS I have now need replacement). Live in Northeast so I see cold/moisture. JoeFromPA
Any DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid is fine. Alot of members who do the bleed themselves will use Ate Super Blue and then alternate with Ate Gold....it makes it very easy to tell when the new brake fluid has made it through the lines. I think Valvoline DOT 3 Synthetic is one of the most easily available and cheap brake fluids that is a pretty good overall product (in terms of value and quality and quantity). jim1969
the owner's manual says DOT 3. I just wondered if the performance stuff was worth it for me.
