tjbev21
so im on my way home from work... i forgot my wallet inside so i bust a u turn, and head back i pull up front kinda in a rush and coasting up to the door at aprox. 1-3 mph I pulled up the e brake fairly slow, and i hear a loud clunk, or like a loud bang of some sort. so i run inside get my wallet and take a look under the car like wtf? nothing looked damaged. so i try another 2 more very very slow rolls then pulling the ebrake... same clunk noise... all my other mt cars never made a noise wen pulling the ebrake rolling slowly or even kinda fast when snow is on the ground lol this happen to anyone else? rao
That is normal. Don't engage the parking brake when the car is moving. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
m sprank
All Wheel Drive and 2 Differentials! No ebrake pulling unless you want to break something. Rao is actually giving legit advice without first flaming, I will mark this day on my calender.
rao
I have never flamed anyone here I believe that is not allowed by the forum rules. The clunk you are hearing is the drum parking brake engaging, if you are going fast enough the next clunks you hear is the center differential fighting against the parking brakes and eventually you won't hear anything and yor car won't move. GTTuner
Only Ken Block can use the E brake! Yes, my car makes the same noise. It's a parking brake, not an emergency brake.
m sprank
Block uses cutting brakes, not parking or e-brakes.
