EcuFlash Won't Recognize ECU... Broken Tactrix?

I got my new VF52 installed yesterday, and received a rom from Infamous, but EcuFlash won't recognize my ECU. After connecting the green connectors, the car went into test mode, but the EcuFlash text read the following:

I am wondering if the Tactrix cable is faulty, as my Accessport will read my ECU. I also tried using the Tactrix cable to connect my Accesport to the OBD II and that did not work (not sure if this is possible anyway). Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cannot wait to use my new turbo. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, unfortunately my problems got far worse than what I posted. Once I un-married the Accessport and disconnected the green cables, my car read Er Hc and will not start. I have already started another thread about this, but thanks again for your thoughts.

Glad to see your issue was resolved. My ECU is in transit to Salt Lake to be reprogrammed. It's amazing to me that a company can sell me a $700 piece of electronics that renders my car unusable, and they do not offer any sort of compensation for a rental or anything like that. They even admitted that "it sounds like the Accessport was responsible for the problem". At least I'll have my car back in 3-5 days.

I had to do the same thing - remove my ecu and overnight it to Cobb. In my case it wasn't my fault (I've never owned an AP) or Cobb's, but the previous owner's fault by putting the wrong rom on the ecu. In my case, Cobb was the hero because they restored my ecu for free and shipped the same day even though they weren't responsible for the rom corruption.

I'd say Cobb is a great company from what I've seen and they definitely step up to the plate even when they don't have to.

An update: I mailed the ECU to Cobb yesterday, and spoke with them today and they told me they fixed it and it would be overnighted to me this afternoon. When I got the UPS tracking number, it said the scheduled delivery date was 9/9/09. I called to make sure this was not the case, and Cobb told me that they had accidentally mailed the ECU UPS Ground, instead of overnight, and it would be here 9/9.

Man, that sucks. Are they charging you for fixing it? If so, I'd be asking for some of that money back.
