fatboy1214
hey i am kinda new to the forums but i have a question would it be possible to fit a bigger engine in my car i have a 97' Subaru legacy outback i was gunna see if you could say drop a small block in or if theres not enough room and possible what else you would have to do to make it run right PS I've never done an engine swap so if you have helpful hints that would be much appreciated
rao
a small block is going to be a little difficult. You can fit lots of Subaru engines - go to http://www.nasioc.com "subaru conversions" forum and you will find all of the information you need. E-Tank
I smell troll... If not, though, you should do a full STI swap. There's some info on it here in the forums. If you're on a tight budget you could go for a 2.0 wrx swap too.

fatboy1214
hey thanks i am definitely on a high schooler budget and i figured if i could that would sweet and the ultimate sleeper
ehsnils
No it wouldn't be the ultimate sleeper. I suspect that most LGT:s and 3.0:s will outrun you due to better grip and handling. If you want to make a sleeper, check out this thread instead: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68613
