landark
In case anyone else with a 2007 stumbles across this, mine has 65,000 miles and is out of its certified warranty based on time, and Subaru agreed to cover half the cost of replacement as a "one time goodwill gesture." Which would make it $225. I'll probably still do it myself since I have the tools required and I might as well save some cash and learn to do it myself since I'll have to do it again soon I'm sure.
