diamondgraymetallic21
I've always wanted a bigger scoop, just because I think it makes the car look meaner/aggressive. But I want it functional, not just plopped on top of the stocker.
bosco
I've always wanted a bigger scoop, just because I think it makes the car look meaner/aggressive. But I want it functional, not just plopped on top of the stocker. you remove the stock plastic hood insert which opens the hood up more. bottom line is no matter what the TMIC is still the same size but the opening to it is larger plus the scoop grabs more air. CTATV
doesnt do it for me, I like the low profile scoop look of the LGT
Leonardo
If we could do like a custom hood to liik/function like the new STi where the area in front of the scoop is lower, that would be hot and a hot seller for Seibon. I'm down for one (as I need one. screwed up mine against a Dodge Ram:() Pic of Hope's STi: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/trdvibe/2008%20Subaru%20STI/CIMG0291.jpg See? Big scoop, stock look from the sides.

Deer Killer
Since this thread is back from the dead, this means nothing to most of you who run a perrin TMIC with or without the engine cover. A new air splitter is what's needed. But no one makes one. show vs go.
FoxHound
10% off is a sweet deal and i would get one if it was 300 shipped... but this one is $597 before shipping.. http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=1&car=6&middlesmall=2%3A8&maker=&volkey=186-001-010-W http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=11303 and thas a crazy amount to spend on a show piece.... it would be cool to be one of the few that have the scoop in the states
