leggtnut
Us in the seattle area get to pay 60+extra for transit.. I'd be fuming paying 300 a year more to drive.. You obvously either don't remember or wasn't in WA before the Iman car tab bill. It was a % of the value of the car and adjusted each year, but an average car new was $500 for the first year and dropped depending on the value of the car. flyboy1649
Got to love Oregon....no sales tax and since I live out of the state I only had to pay about $120 for four years of registration. I tacked on an extra $20 for my Crater Lake Plates so I paid about $140. Go Liberal, granola eating, tree hugging, birkenstock wearing, pot smoking hippies!!!!! I love Oregon! *Forgot to add that I bought the car in Utah and since I have an Oregon address I didn't have to pay Utah taxes since I registered in Oregon.....I love the military as well!!!!
