stephan47
First things first are the caliper bolts, wheels, bolts that hold the caliper or pins that hold the pads tightened or torqued to specs?
Max Capacity
When did you do this a week ago or is this on the first test drive ? If your sure everything is tight, do that bed in process. I do that every few months or weeks as needed. I have buddy's with other type vehicles that have the same issue. So it's not just a Subaru thing. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. M3 Adjuster
rotate tires and or re-balance the tires.... if a wheel weight comes off, you can get a vibration, especially when braking
pn8830
Where do you feel shaking? In the steering wheel, in the brake pedal or in both? Normally when wheels are off balance you'll get vibration even when you are not braking. I had the same problem and it turned out to be deposits on rotors, after replacing pads and bedding them in the problem went away. From time to time I get it again but doing couple of hard brakes removes deposits again and the car brakes smoothly. PN.
