There's a lot more to this job then what you think. 5speed or automatic? Think about all the fluids and filters, flywheel and clutch, may be engine mounts... 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). itsme Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 That shounds like alot. I have done all the work on my LGT and even helped a friend put in a clutch. It's not that hard to do. But, it never takes me long to pull a motor. You should shop around for the best price. You should let people know where you live so they could suggest a shop.
