From the starting location teams of two per car travel checkpoint to checkpoint and collect a poker hand, the team with the best hand at the ending location wins the rally! The NER is NOT a race, nor is it a TSD. Teams are expected to arrive at checkpoints within a certain amount of time, however speeding and reckless driving is prohibited. Maybe next year. have you done it before? how does it work? the description everywhere is very vague. all it tells you is the starting location. i understand that's probably part of it - you're not supposed to know where you're going until right before - but some more details would be cool. can you use GPS? it says 6 states...i'm guessing it does some sort of circle around new england? i also saw in the yuppieracing forum they're looking to do a coast to coast one next year possibly...that would be bad ass....
