mk6933
I cant believe no one on here has a RBS lip on their car. I just ordered a version 2 for my car. Version 2 of a RBS lip? What's the difference?

You talking about the spoiler or the actual lip? If memory serves, there isn't a version 2 for the lip. I could be wrong though. I do have the rbs lip (not the rear spoiler) though....not sure what version it may be (if there is more than one)
mk6933
Oh.. trunk lip. I thought u are talking about a front lip.
Biggu
yea sorry talking about the trunk spoiler. well anyways summer wheels are on and coilovers are on. needs to be adjusted (raised a tad) http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Legacy/076f5794.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Legacy/8543d441.jpg
Verwilderd
What coilovers are you using? Also, I would strongly suggest some window tint. They make a bronze-colored tint that looks great! I did a layer of bronze and then a layer of regular gray to get the slight bronze affect...if you want more bronze, then don't do the gray. Oh and if you're going to get a truck spoiler, I would go with the STi replica one. I think that looks great. If my car hadn't come with a spoiler on it already from the factory, that would have been my choice.
Biggu
Im on stance GR+. Tint is on my list of things im going to do but im working on getting a note from my eye doctor because my eyes have been sensitive in the sun lately. STi one is nice but the RBS version 2 looks better to me IMO. It will be delivered today too!!

LegacyFuture
anyone who doesn't like this color, here is the thing. I had bunch of other cars with typical colors and I got almost no looks, nothing. With this color, I constantly get looks and so on...
Scrad
I will have to concur. I had an 05 Regal Blue Pearl that I thought looked 5x's better. People always said that they liked it. Most of them were the car guy types. But with the DBM I've had strangers comment on the car a lot when I first bought it. Most of them ladies and middle aged men. Now its the winter and it seems to always be dirty so I haven't heard anything lately. The color has grown on me a lot. I really disliked the color at first and didn't even consider buying my 3.0R because of it. However my wife said she liked it and I couldn't pass on the deal that I got for it. Now I think the color is pretty cool. It's just hard to find the right rim colors that compliment the car.
Shedd
This color = awesome. There are two Legacys nearby with this color (a 3.0R and a 2.5i) and it's very nice in person.

I feel like this is a color that really stands out as no one ever considers it until they see someone with it. I personally love it. i loved this color the second I set eyes on it. Woodstock
Hi my fellow DBM owners. Can you please provide me of a close up picture of the windshield wiper heater element. I know you can see the heater circuit strips. My insurance replaced my windshield and did not include a wiper heater element on it. They were saying that because of the tint you cannot see the "circuit" I said BS and I will provided them a picture that the car came with it. Pheel73
I don't have any pics but...if it makes you feel any better, I recently had my windshield replaced. I called the autoglass place and asked the same question about the heater elements. You could see the circuit on the old but not the new..Thankfully a few days later it had snowed and I was able to test it out, and sure enough it worked Hope that helps. Woodstock
I was not able to test it yet. I will probably put it on later and feel it if it gets hot to touch.

I can tell you for sure that you won't be able to see the heater element on the newer windshields. If you look at 2010-2011 subarus, you won't see it either. It is in fact because of the tint.
