FlipNap
Still living through my brother's Legacy because my 12 year old Toyota just won't give up. At this rate, it never will:mad:. I did detail the 3.0R several times last summer. This is after the whole clay-polish-glaze-wax deal. With the porter cable, I used Meguiars #82 followed by #80, then hand applied some Harley Davidson S100 wax. In the spring I'm going to try some Klasse stuff. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3014/2787233244_6202d66503_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3293/2786371747_e999965541_b.jpg Not too bad of a reflection off the roof either:cool: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3100/2787235152_ced76eb18c.jpg

Woodstock
just a little "paint line scratch" the kind of a cat clawed the car. Small scratches that a wax can hide... i think
Guest LGT-NY
Where is it? It's going to be hard to make it look clean with any of those options...
Woodstock
tthere! kind of looks like that, with the white lines
Gmoe
^ Pen....unless you feel like painting the whole fender. Though if wax can hide it.....you should be able to buff it out with a polisher. Just through the clearcoat or paint too?
Woodstock
i would say just the clearcoat. It not deep at all. A wax could hide it.
Woodstock
would this look good on DBM? rota tarmac 3 gold 18x7.5 5x100 +48: http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=44 I haven't had a chance to clean the car and post pics.

Verwilderd
^^Beautiful. Glad to see someone else who appreciates this color. I get a lot of compliments on mine because it's not a common color for cars. What about you?

What about you? Thank You for the compliments. Yes, we do get a lot of compliments especially when she is all cleaned up. We specifically picked and looked for this color for a while because of its looks and how uncommon it is. I don't think I have seen another sedan on the road in this color in Seattle area so far. A 35% tint all around might be in this car's future.

And yeah, as for the color, I have yet to see another Subaru here in Dallas that is the same color. Infinity makes a color similar and have seen one or two fx35's with their bronze, but not a Subaru. Coyote_Lips
You have a close up of some bronze tint? I went with 35% smoke because thats all my local guys had... would love to see some other ideas though! Yup...

Verwilderd
I bet it was the DBM in the day. I think it looks awesome when the light hits it. At night, it's hard to tell what color it is.
