tommboy
There is a loud noise coming from my car and small vibrations coming from my car at 60 mph espcially when turning. I think it's a bent rim but am not sure. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be and what I could potentially do about it? Will I just have to buy a new rim? LGT Dave
What kind of noises? It could be a wheel bearing that's gone bad.
fonts
I wouldn't think that you would feel the effects of a bent rim only at 60 mph when turning. +1 on possible wheel bearing, or tire issue like dislodged belt, wear issues.
tommboy
I can hear that same noise at higher speeds to sometimes 95+
VTGT
Mine does kind of the same thing. It gets screwy when turning at high speeds (50-60. And at very slow speeds it kinda skids to the side . Going straight it is also pretty bumpy. I think I either have a bent rim or my tire is warn in an absurd manner. unless that diagnosis is a bad wheel bearing.)
