FPerron
If the beam is removed, is it necessary to rig something up to support the bumper skin?
Spec B
Nope. You could run bumperbeamless..
FPerron
Has anyone ever tried this running 130 mph with a front lip? I'm just concerned that the bodywork would flex excessively. I was thinking of adding a couple of wooden supports that bolt to the bumper beam attachment points and fit into the groove in the foam piece. Spec B
Not sure what this is worth...but I forgot to install the foam piece when I did my FMIC. Bumper beam is in, but no foam...I have not had a problem with my RBS lip, but again, I do not reach anywhere near 130 on the street. Not sure what would happen on the track.
