Regal05LGT
Essentially I'm retarded and forgot to put the bump stops on when I switched my suspension to koni/swift......should I put them on, or can I live without them?? Are they really that crucial?? Thanks,

ifbiker
The bump stops are quite the little engineered piece of polymer. I would put them on especially since you have reduced your bump travel with the Swift springs and don't have any added "extra" protection from strut damage if you were to blow out. Keep in mind these things were designed to give more spring rate as they are engaged as well as strut protection. You may want to poll to see if anyone has shortened the bump stop while running Swifts.
Regal05LGT
I was def going to shorten them if I put them on, I think I am just going to put em in to be safe
Underdog
Swift specifically says in their instruction sheet that you don't need to cut the bump stops. However, the springs are designed for Bilsteins which supposedly have more travel. After riding with the bump stops installed for several months I wouldn't mind a bit more travel before hitting the stops. You definitely want some cushion in there in case you bottom out though.
