RaceComp Engineering
"Essentially stock height" is fine....I would not recommend going any higher. - Andrew
VTGT
Mindspin what spring rates are you getting on your RCE's? I am pretty sure 350/350 spring rates was offered which could mean slightly better ride quality.
Mindspin311
I decided to go with the 400/400 for now. If I get them installed and its just too harsh, Ill get the 350 springs and swap them. Here's hoping I dont need to do that.
nm
That's true, you can. You likely shouldn't. There should be clear instructions with the coil-overs as to what height range they can be used in. They can physically be adjusted outside of this range, but that will negate your warranty, and is outside of the range of travel that the actual damper is designed for. If you raise them up to high, you may not have enough droop travel. That being said, they range of adjustment does not lower your car too much at all. I drive mine through the whole winter in all conditions. I live in Winnipeg! That is thier max recommended height. I did RTFM
LittleBlueGT
That is thier max recommended height. I did RTFM Sorry buddy. When I got mine the ride height that was specified was actually a bit lower then stock. FWIW the max height changes depending on what top-hats you use, Spec-B ones or regular ones, but not by much. Admittedly, I didn't measure the stock hieght, which is why I say essentially stock height. People assume I'm on stock suspension just looking at it though. I'm on spec B tophats.
