05Boost
well itll all get fixed once all the parts are ordered. Going to just go with ewg seems like it will be a better option and i cant wait for the noise.

IAM wasnt at 1 and i didnt rev it out. 4th gear pull. But peak went from 243g/sec to 263g/sec from switching out my mufflers (xo2 mid/y-stock mufflers before now stromung cattback)
mickeyd2005
You really need to find out what's causing the IAM to drop before you start tuning boost. Also, your boost curve has a pretty large dip in it at 3400 rpm. Small dips are fine but this one is 2 psi. Your boost at 5000 rpm seems to be too high. It looks like the WGDC is winding down but it's not winding down fast enough or the WGDC initial is too high.
Infamous1
Actually there seems to be some sort of mechanical issue, if you look at the WGDCs you can see you are approaching 0% although you are seeing 20+ psi. You are pretty much grossly over shooting the boost targets. I am almost positive the high boost is what dropped the IAM. No fuel cut CEL? Has there been any other changes since then? 05Boost
Nope no changes other then exhaust. And no cels
Infamous1
Something is keeping the WG shut, I am amazed that a vf series turbo can even achieve this kind of boost pressure. Regardless stay out of any hard driving until you get your new setup. There could possibly be a pinched line or something, that is some serious creep. 05Boost
What kind of errors could I take a look at?
testes1010
^ pinched lines going to/from the bcs from/to the turbo, WG arm hitting heatshield, disconnect hose from wg & push open with hand to make sure opens fully.
05Boost
Is there a picture guide of that? I'm not the most mechanicle person
05Boost
another thing i just dont understand is if i didnt have these problems before I changed the exhaust, how come they are apparent now? Back to my first tuner, before i dynoed i was on stock exhaust beyond the downpipe, then I added the rest of the exhaust and thats when it got all messed up. Then I switched back to stock mufflers but with the rest of the 3inch turbo back and everything seemed normal. Its just my thinking, (im not as smart as you guys when it comes to all this) but could the stock mufflers with the 2.25inch piping have been that restrictive matting to the 2.5inch piping on the ypipe? Infamous1
Your overboosting still but the creep isn't nearly as bad. This leads me to believe it may be something related to the BCS/pill setup. You are still running the two pill setup from the oem vf52 setup correct? 05Boost
What ever would normally happen when you just change out turbos is what happened. I didn't change anything during install

05Boost
so i installed a perrin dp catted, uninstalled the invidia cattless. So how do these logs look. I think alittle better since the wastegate might have been blocked by the not fully shaved part on the invida.romraiderlog_20091004_113512.csv
Infamous1
Still overboosting a bit, but it looks a lot better. Your timing may need a little smoothing here and there as well. Also it may be time for either a cleaning or replacing of your intake filter as well.
