OCDetails
I've got the letters for my Boxer badge now and I just need to decide on a position for it. Should it go on the left side of the deck, right side above the 2.5GT, or right side under the 2.5GT? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Jngrbrdman/158-5828_IMG.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Jngrbrdman/158-5853_IMG.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Jngrbrdman/158-5856_IMG.jpg The letters look pretty good. They are bigger than the original LEGACY badge. More along the lines of the GT. Anyway, I'm just trying to decide on a spot and then I'll slap em on. EDIT Never mind. I put it on and I don't like it so I took it off again. I'm going to stick with just the 2.5 GT. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . OCDetails
I got the letters at www.youremblem.com. I found a 20% off discount code on a PT Cruiser forum. With the discount it cost around 17 dollars. I think I'm going to have to wear it a couple days to see if I like it. I'm not sure yet. I just went out and looked at it again and I kind of like it today. Its not exactly the kind of thing that you can just keep taking on and off. The tape they use to stick these on is pretty tough stuff. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Jngrbrdman/Boxer.jpg The Viper is a client's car that I detail. Its a 1994 Hennessy Venom 600. Here are some more pictures of it. Its serial number 2 for the Venom 600 vipers. Road and Track rated it as the fastest production car they have ever driven at the time it was built. Its a pretty slick car. I always cut him a nice deal on his other cars anytime he has me come out to detail this one. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/Jngrbrdman/158-5845_IMG.jpg _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . PGT
Henessey Viper or not, that spoiler has got to go. Ruins the car IMHO
OCDetails
Its a Henessey standard accessory. You won't find many without it. The front end and the spoiler are all part of the package. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . c-lo
my vote is for the boxer to replace the legacy and take the 2.5 off and leave the gt where it is. I've taken off the legacy and the 2.5. trying to decide if I'll take the rest off, but after seeing that boxer badge, maybe I'll do that. Sorry, I meant i took off the subaru off the left side. put the boxer there. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
SFGR415
Nice HRE wheels on the Viper
rallispec
as much as i love vipers, the spoiler on the henessey body kit is a bit overwhelming. I'd still take it in a heartbeat though has your client let you drive it?
OCDetails
I get to drive it about 5 feet out of the garage. I don't know that I want to drive a car that goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Too much power. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . PGT
A buddy has a supercharged GTS Coupe. I second the above statement. Getting to ride in it is enough for me. Now, if it was my car....hell yeah I am gonna drive the heck out of it.
OCDetails
I don't know that this guy even drives it that much. It has 12 more miles on it than it had last May when I took pictures of it. The odometer has like 12,000 miles on it. That is pretty low for a 1994 car. lol _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . rallispec
heh -- what a waste -- if that were my car you'd have to drag me out of it.
OCDetails
The funny thing about those HRE wheels is that three of them were missing the center caps. See that silver thing on the top there? That is the fourth one. It popped right out as I was cleaning the wheel. Kind of a cheap center cap. Those wheels need more attention than he gives them. I could probably spend 3 hours just detailing those massive chrome rims. He told me that he plans to drive it more this year. I'm going to see if I can get him to come out to the car show that I sponsor every year. The underside of that hood is seriously impressive. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S .
